We do not track you
This website and the Yellow File editor set no cookies for advertising, analytics or tracking.
One cookie, to keep you logged in
When you log in, we set one cookie, yf_session. It holds a signed token that says which account you are, so you stay logged in for up to 14 days. It is strictly necessary for the editor to work, it cannot be read by the page’s scripts, and it is removed when you log out. It is not set for visitors who only read the website, so there is no cookie banner: there is nothing to agree to.
How the editor remembers your work
Your saved workspace is reached through its own web address, kept on our servers, not in a cookie. Our font is served from this site, so loading a page does not call any other company.
If this changes
If we ever add a cookie, we will list it here, say why, and ask first where the law requires it.
