Can I use Yellow File optimally on a cell phone?
Yellow File is designed as a professional desktop workspace. For the best precision when drawing masks and using the brush tools, we recommend a laptop or desktop. However, the app is fully responsive, so you can easily review generations, approve versions, and share client links from your mobile browser. It is designed for fast, precision editing on desktop, and you can review and share on mobile.
How is this different from other AI image tools?
Most AI image tools are “slot machines.” You prompt, and they redraw the entire scene, warping your subject, changing the lighting, and forcing you to spend hours masking the mess. With Yellow File, you select exactly what you want to change. The Space Lock guarantees 0 pixels change outside your selection. The rest of the photo stays exactly as it was.
What exactly is the “Space Lock”?
It is our core technology. When you draw a box around a product, a car door, or a countertop, the AI only paints inside that box. Every original pixel outside it, the background, the shadows, everything you did not select, is preserved bit-for-bit. We verify this on every single generation. If even one pixel outside your selection changes, the version is rejected and never shown to you.
Can I use my own material swatches or brand colors?
Yes. Alongside the ready-made swatches (Carrara Marble, White Oak, and more), you can type any material or color you want. For a brand campaign, lock the material so every variation in the run matches exactly.
What is the difference between Draft Mode and Pro Mode?
Draft Mode uses a faster, cheaper AI model. It is perfect for testing compositions and masks before you spend money. Pro Mode uses the highest-quality image model we offer. It is what you use for the final render you show your client.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Yellow File runs entirely in your browser. There is no plugin, no browser extension, and no heavy software to download. You can work from any laptop, desktop, or tablet.
What happens if I hit my generation limit?
You can move up to the next plan at any time. We never charge you for overages: if you run out, the “Generate” button simply pauses until your month resets.
What is your refund policy?
We offer a 14-day refund window for new monthly subscriptions, and a 30-day window for annual plans, provided the account has used fewer than 10 AI Generations. Because every generation costs us real API compute, we cannot refund accounts that have been heavily used, but you can cancel at any time to prevent future billing.
Can I share a link with my client to approve the design?
Yes. Every run generates a Client Share Link. You can send this read-only link to your client. They can view the Before/After slider and approve the final version without seeing your workspace, prompts, or tool settings.
